Outreach Committee
Helping South Carolinians understand the Assembly, find their place within it, and stay informed about the work being done.
Committee Purpose
Clear Communication. Thoughtful Outreach.
The Outreach Committee develops the Assembly’s public messaging, member communications, outreach materials, and introductory resources. Its work should make participation easier without reducing serious ideas to slogans.
The committee coordinates with the Assembly’s officers and other committees so that notices are accurate, timely, consistent, and appropriate for their intended audience.
Current Priorities
- Prepare clear introductory materials for prospective members.
- Establish a dependable process for Assembly-wide announcements.
- Support county outreach with reusable print and digital materials.
- Maintain consistent language and visual standards across public channels.
